The Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana is the sole professional body responsible for the regulation, training, and development of public relations practitioners in Ghana. Established in 1972 and registered under the Professional Bodies Registration Decree, 1973 (NRCD 143), IPR Ghana is committed to promoting excellence, integrity, and professionalism in communication practice nationwide.
With a membership spanning corporate communications, media relations, crisis management, and advisory roles, the Institute serves as the authoritative voice of PR in Ghana. It ensures that practitioners adhere to the highest standards of ethics, continuous learning, and accountability.

Regulatory Role & Legal Backing
Operating under NRCD 143, IPR Ghana is legally mandated to uphold the highest professional standards in Public Relations practice across the country.
